1. Give to children in need: Participate in the 20 Hour famine. Raise a
minimum of $40.00√
2. Adopt and egg for 2 weeks. √
Physical Activity and the Outdoors:
1.Compete in a sport for an entire season√
2.Walk or run around the Waikareao Estuary negotiated walkway four times with a family member
Excellence in the Arts:
1.Learn an instrument or craft or join a dance school/team during the year √
2.Visit an exhibition and review it. Present your review on your blog.
Academic Excellence:
1.Improve your study skills: Research Rimu- where do you find it? Why is
it important to Māori? What uses does it have? Why is Rimu the best tree in the school? √
2. viset the library and write a blog post about what the library has to offer √
Service in School and Community:
1. Care for younger children: Organize a series of games or activities for
younger siblings or neighbors or teach them a dance or an instrument√
2.Become a tech angel and provide technical support for other students/
teachers in another school
