3rd world countries

A 3rd world country is when a country lives in poverty.  One of these countries are Africa. Africa is a very poor country and has very little clean water. Most people in Africa have to walk hours just to get to where the water is, and it's not clean water. People go to the toilet in rivers and clean themselves in the river as well. A lot of people and kids die every day in Africa because of not enough water or they starve to death. New Zealand is a first world country. Although, 1/6 families in New Zealand suffer from poverty.

A Rose By Any Other Name Would Smell As Sweet

A Rose By Any Other Name Would Smell As Sweet is a famous quote my Shakespeare that was used in the movie Romeo and Juliet, in the 1600's

This is the sentence that Juliet said in the movie:
"Tis but thy name that is my enemy; Thou art thyself, though not a Montague, Whats a Montague? Its not a hand, nora foot, nor a arm, nor a face, nor any other part belonging to man. O, be some other name! whats in a name? That witch we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet; So Romeo call'ed retain that dear perfection which he owes without that tittle. Romeo, doff thy name, and for that name which is no part of thee, take all myself.

She said this at Romeos house because she is trying to say that it doesn't matter that Romeos name is they can still be together.

The meaning of A Rose By Any Other Name Would smell As Sweet is that it doesn't matter what something is called it will still smell at sweet as a rose. It doesn't matter if something is called mud or something you would think it smells nice, it will still smell like a rose.

45 minute Inquiry

Curling has been a Olympic sport since 1998. It started in Scotland in the medieval times. Curling can be played by woman or men. Curling has a few nicknames, such as Chest on Ice or The Roaring Game. In 2006 Curling also became a Paralympic sport, were athletes play in wheelchairs.

The object of the game is to get a big heavy stone called a curling stone, to the other end of the lane and into a target, your points depend on where on the target your curling stone lands.

There are 4 players in a team, but only 3 are curling at once. One player pushes the ball at the start and then there are 2 sweepers that sweep the ice to guide the curling stone down the lane and onto the target. Each team gets 8 stones each.

The equipment you use in Curling are 2 brooms called curling brooms. The stone is a curling stone and you have to wear special shoes called curling shoes witch I think are to stop you from sliding

The Impossible
Director: Juan Antonio Bayona

Producers: Enrique López lavigne, Belen Atienza and Alaro Augustin

Rating: 85% of people liked this movie.

Information: In October 11th, 2012 The Impossible came out in
Spain, then slowly came out over the world.

Main character: The main characters are Naomi Watts (Maria), Ewan Mcgregor (Henry), Tom Holland (Lucas).

The movie is about when a family goes on holiday for Christmas in Thailand but they get caught in the Indian Ocean Tsunami. The Family gets split apart and badly hurt. Do they ever get out alive? Will they find each other?  Watch The Impossible to find out.

My opinion:
I really liked this movie. I felt like I was actually there living the disaster. I wouldn't recommend it to younger audiences as it can be very violence and there is a lot of blood and guts in it.
I rate this movie 4/5

T.G.C orientation day

Today all of the year 8 girl from Tauranga Intermediate School and from other schools went to Tauranga Girls Collage for an orientation day. We got there on the bus and came into the old gym were the deputy principle Mrs Ferguson, the year 9 deans and the head girl for 2014.

After that we were put into groups with T.G.C girls, they took us on a tour around the school and showed us were the classrooms were and answered any of our questions.

I am not really nervous about going to T.G.C because I know I might be with some of my friends and there are more opportunities that I can choose from witch I would like to do. What I am nervous is about is that I might get lost and not be able to find my classroom on the first couple of days.
This is us in the old gym.

Dystopian picture

I hear the violent yells from car to car, and the screeching of horns. I can't smell much because the thick black smoke clogs up my sinuses and my lungs. I can see nothing but a traffic line of cars stretching for miles, like they are trying to set another world record for the longest line of cars. My morning coffee tingles my taste buds as they dance around and sliding down my throat. I feel sick of this job that North Korea government has set me. I want to be free.

Personality test

A man called Dave came to our school and attitude. He said that everyone was a animal. The animals were the otter, the lion, the golden retriever and the beaver. The otters are people who just wanna have fun and they hate being bored. The lion is are people who like to lead, and boss others around. The golden retriever just wants to keep peace, they don't like fights or arguing. Lastly its the beavers. The beavers are really smart, they do really good in school, and it means a lot to them.

I did the test. It said I was 41% golden retriever. It also showed what percentage I was for the other animals. I was 30% beaver, 11% lion and 19% otter.

12 hour relay, 2013

The first block was a fun run walk,
Most people just walked and talked,
As we came around the corner, Miss Campbell and Miss Mackenzie gave a little shower.

The second block was really fun,
Apart from when I got a wet bum,
Most games we won apart from the tug of war
Some people ended up on the floor.

To clam us down in the last block we had a little talent show,
Some people really glowed with talent.

It was a really enjoyable day, I hope they have something like this in collage one day.

The 12 Hour Relay Disaster

The look on Mr Scholes face spelled T for trouble. I heard this shouting behind me, I turned around and at least 5 men were running around the field. They were all in black and carrying big guns with them. The lock down drill rang through the speakers and everyone dashed for the nearest classroom. All accept one. I couldn't make out who it was from the classroom corner where I was hiding. As this person came sprinting over the finish line and kept running to a classroom before they all locked up. Everyone was puzzled about this person, their were rumors that the person was from Rimu and he that last lap just made Rimu win the 12 Hour Relay. The police turned up and their was a big shoot out. Luckily no one was hurt and the men to jail.

Drug Presentation

This term we have been having our Life Education sessions. One of the topics we are learning about is drugs. Everyone in our class has made a presentation about one individual drug so that we can extend our knowledge. I made my presentation to a class member and they have given me feedback about my presentation below.
Success Criteria
- confidence when they deliver their presentation
- their knowledge is genuine
- information is in their own words
- no reading off the page, not too much text
- images match content
- visually appealing
- not too long or short

Dear Mr Diver

Dear Mr Diver,

It is my last year here at Tauranga Intermediate School, and I would like to suggest somethings to change about the school.

Firstly the girls school T-shirts, it is quite annoying having white T-shirts. You have to take extra care with them because they get really dirty being white.

Lastly the assembly. It is too long.  I recommend that you shorten it, some kids in the school get restless and can't do it.

I hope you take these points into consideration,

Yours sincerely,

Jessica Marshall

Life Ed

In third block last Friday my class went to Life Ed. The man who ran Life Ed name was Mike. We watched a movie about some people that did drugs when they were 13-15, and said that it was a big mistake. Life Ed's moto is Delay The Decision. Mike says to delay the decision until you are at the top of the ladder or above. The ladder has 7 steps on the ladder. Each step represents 7 years of puberty. So it is best to delay the decision of using drug or taking alcohol till you have finished puberty.

Advice

Dear Aunty Paris,
I found out my two friends smoke. I am only 13. I don't know what to do. I am really confused. Please help

Dear Anonymous,

I was not very surprised when I found out that your 13 year old friend were smoking. A lot of kids these age get a bit confused because of somethings that might be happening in their life or at home. I do suggest going to your teacher about this. He/she might be able to find a councilor that could talk to the to girls and help them. Also what might help is you talking to them yourself, you being their best friend they might take what you are saying seriously. Other people that can help are their parents. You need to find out if their parents know. Get them to call this number for advice is 8428787. This is what ups.

I hope everything goes well,

Formal Occasion

My grandad's funeral

I had to wear black. I wore a black dress and a half top cardigan and black slip ons. I had my hair straighten and left down but when it got hot it was in a pony tail. We didn't have to prepare much. The venue that it was at already had everything set up because it was used for funerals and weddings, and they had a bar, and a cook that made all the food. You could bring something if you wanted to.

A tradition we did was that the closest family had a bowl that holds candle. We had a candle for each person and when the ceremony had finished they lit their own candle.

1km Walk.

On Sunday me, Conor and Matt walked 1km. We started at a park in rose dale to a park on Hollister Lane. We started at the park in Rose Dale and walking to the other park. It took us 11:21 seconds. Matt had a device that showed us how much calories we had lost. We had lost 5 calories from that walk. I would recommend this walk for a nice morning walk or run. It is not flat and boring there is up hills and down hills and you definitely raise your heart rate.

Sun shines brightly through the clouds.
Pets, calfs, lambs and chicks are born.
Rain clouds will no longer be around.
In spring your blossom trees blossom with flowers and the bees and insects start to come out.
Now it is time for spring cleaning.

Going outside in the sun first the first time in long time.

My day and a half at girls' self defence

All day Monday and half a day on Tuesday all the year 8 rimu house girls went to learn girls' self defense. The lady who was teaching us was called Alison but we called her Ali.

There, I learn't the sensitive parts on a attacker and what to do to them if they grab me. I learn't different types of punches and kick to help me defend myself.

Ali showed me how to use my voice. I need to say things strong and with power if someone grabs me or touches me and I don't like it.

At the end of a lesson we would listen to stories about what has happened to people and how they got out of it. Listening to the stories made me feel more confident that I could get away from something like that if I believed.

In the end we got certificates and posters. On the posters it showed the sensitive areas on a attacker and will give you some options on what you can do. It also had phone numbers that you can call if you need to talk to someone about something or you need help.

I am really grateful that Ali could come and teach us that stuff. All of us feel much confident to go out now and we know what to do.

Poem of the weekend.

This weekend I went to Paris's house to help her pack up her bedroom into boxes as she was moving.

We packed up Paris's bedroom into boxes.
Eating lollies and pizza for lunch.
Extremely cold when I got locked outside.
Kindness flashed through Hunter Paris's little brother as he gave Paris a big sloppy kiss.
Exciting when we smashed up a T.V with a bat, but had to pick up al the pieces afterwards.
Never again going on a trampoline as I some how jump of the tramp and landed on the bar.
Dinner at my neighbors house we had a roast. I was so full I could only just eat breakfast in the morning.

My bulling experience

It was just last Friday, Me and my friends were going to our usual place at lunchtime at the other side of the school by the school gate. When we got there, there were some girls from kahikatea there as well. When we sat down they starting looking at us, they called us the "B word" and told us to go away and they were there first. We tried to reason with them  and told them that we can sit here to because we have been sitting here for a long time. They told us again that they were here first and said it not like you have your names on the tree that was there. We replied that we actually do, as we have the first letters of our names lightly drawn on the tree. They carried on swearing at us so we left.

I am not really to sure why they did that. When we sat there last year they would come over and hang out with us. Now they have changed a bit and they are quite mean now.

We didn't tell any teacher because we were all a bit scared that they would come at us if they got told off.

My favorite part of my holiday in Wellington.

It was the middle of the term holiday, my Mum and Dad had only recently just left and left me and my sister Alicia down in wellington with my aunty for a holiday. That night we all agreed to get pizza for dinner but we had to stop at Pak 'n' Save first. We came into Pak 'n' Save and did our shopping, it was just when we were going through the checkout it finally hit......

The clock struck to 5.09pm, me and Alicia were walking up and down the checkout when we heard my aunty ask us if we felt that. We both turned around puzzled but it wasn't until we heard smashing we turned around to look at the shelves and they were no longer straight they were swaying violently. All the items started jumping of shelves and smashing on the ground. Me and Alicia got down on the ground leaning against the checkout with our hands over our heads. The shaking stopped and everyone just left there trolleys and ran out.

My aunty was the most shaken up even though it was my first earthquake I seemed the most calm. We didn't even go home first because my aunty had to go get a drink from the pub!

The production.

Yesterday I went to the matinee at Bay Court for the Tauranga Intermediate School production. The production was called A Most Triumphant Tale. It was about to bands called One Dimension and Labyrinth. One dimension is a lip singer band with no talent and Labyrinth who has amazing talent but keept losing to their rivals One Dimension. When Labyrinth split up  to members go on the search to find other band members. In the end they win and Music is saved from the 2030 as it is all lip sinking is what bands re all about.

I really liked the production as it was really funny and well thought out.

I am writing this to you because I think that you should join squash. You don't have to be good at it, you can just come and learn and have a blast! I don't understand why you do gymnastics, all you do is roll on the floor and jump on the beam. It is not very active. With squash on the other hand is very active and will keep your fitness level up.

After this letter I hope you will join squash.

Yours sincerely,
Jessica

Service in school and community: Care for younger children: Organize a series of games or activities for younger siblings or neighbors or teach them a dance or an instrument

In the weekend I had my little cousin Elijah come around to stay the night. I thought this might of been a good opportunity to do one of my homework tasks. Elijah is only 2 years old so on the night that he stayed I couldn't do anything with him because he went to bed. So in the morning, I organized a sires of games. I did hide and go seek, hopscotch, kicking with the ball and going to the park right next door.

The first game I played was hopscotch. He found it a little bit hard to hop so I had to help him a bit. We played that for about 10 minnuets as he started to get tired.
This is the hopscotch.

Elijah trying to hop.

The next game was hide and go seek. It was really hard to play with him because when he would hide you would walk straight past him and he would jump out and say I am here! But it was a lot of fun.

This is Elijah coming out of his hiding place in the washing basket.

The third game was kicking the ball. Overall I think this was his favorite game. We played this game for ages, I think it was 30 minnuets tops. It started by just throwing the ball to each other then rolling and then finally kicking it.

Me and Elijah playing with the ball.

To end the sires of games I took him to the park. At the park he mainly swung on the swing and rocked and the koala and slid down the slide at the end.

A.Because if they flew across the bay they would be called bagels.

Q. Why don't skeletons fight each other?
A. They don't have the guts

Bad product or service.

A bad product that I have once bought was a kids walkie talkie when I was little. I was about 7 years old and at the my mum bought me and my sister a High School Musical Walkie Talkie from the Warehouse. I can't remember how much it was but it wasn't cheap. On the packet it said if you pull out the arial there will be lipgloss in it. We tried to open it but it was nearly impossible, my dad got it open to find a whole bunch of wires and no lipgloss. Also me and my sister couldn't get a signal when we were in a room right next door to each other and was really hard to understand each other when we did get a signal.

My science fair summery.

For my science fair I am making a product that is called the Brush 'n' Blow. It brushes your hair while drying it. The prototype that I have made doesn't produce hot air because it is to technical, so it only produces cold air. My dad mainly put it together because it involved wires and electronics witch I did't know much about. My job was the science board witch was the most time consuming.

CAPTCHA

Have you ever wondered why you have to rewrite words to prove you are not a robot? This is why....

It is a system called CAPTCHA.  It has two jobs. The first job is to save all the really old books. Some books that are handwritten are really old. To save these books they are scanning them into computers, but because they are all handwritten the computer can't understand them to process them. So when you write out a word you are also rewriting an old book. There are about 200 million sold every day. It also protects your blogs and other sites for robots scamming your computer/sites.

Cross Country

On monday the 24th was Tauranga Intermediate School cross country. It was freezing cold and really hard to run. First to race was the year 7 girls. Melia came first in the year 7 race and made a new record. I didn't see much of the year 7 boys race as I was warming up with the teacher. When the year 8 race was on we lined up at the start. I was so nervous I thought I was going to be sick. The gun went off, it was a really long run and the track seemed to go forever. I ran around the field to the finish line I coud hear rimu house cheering me on. I past through the finish line almost being sick. Mr Mac handed me the 191 card. I thought that was ok out of 270,since I never did it last year due to my foot.

Computer games.

I used to play this game called Fire Boy and Water Girl with my sister. It is only a 2 player game. It is set in a temple. You have to get past these little traps and to your door at the end. If you are fire you aim is to get to the end and go through the red door to pass the level. If you are water you have to get to the blue door at he end. You can only pass the level when both characters go through the door. The things that will kills you are..... There are little pits of fire or water that you have to jump across. If Fire Boy jumps in the water pit he will die and the level will have to start over.  It is the same with Water Girl.
There is about 3 different games with different levels.
I really liked this game because it is challenging and really fun!

My Mum and Dads work.

My Mums work
In 2010 my mum opened up a preschool on fraser street. It was really hard to open because the neighbors didn't want to have all the noise. My mum had to go through court a lot of times before it was okayed.  The preschool is open from 7:30am- 5:30pm. The preschool is license for 25 kids. 5 under2's and 20 over2's. This year my mum just got the okay for a license for 40 kids.

My Dads work
My dad is a builder. He has built a lot of houses for the Coast building company. His business that he owns is called Dynamic building. He works from 7:30am or 8:00am - 50: or onwards a night.

A typical argument with my sister.

A typical argument with my sister.

I will be practicing the piano and my sister will be watching a movie....

"Jess!" Alicia yells at the top of her voice. "Stop it I want to watch this movie!

"No" I say gritting my teeth, "I am pretty sure my piano practice is more important than that movie  your watching!"

"She stomps her feet and yells and back, "I don't Care!"

"Yes well I do" I say back trying to be calm about it.

Alicia runs up to me and says "I telling Mum on you!"

I finally loose it and yell back " You can't Mum is at the neighbors!"

She runs to the door but I get there first and I close the door on her, as she desperately I think of something to tell Alicia on.

I release the door and run over to the neighbors. As I go through the door Mum says, "I don't wanna hear it!"

Rimu house challenge: Complete the 20 or 40 hour famine and raise a minimum of $40.00

I decided to do the 20 hour famine. Me, Paris H, Aimee and kate did no technology. We all went to kate house When I got there I went into the lounge and set out my things ready for the night. I arrived before Paris and Aimee, so I helped Kate bring the horses out a brush them. The horses names are
Foxy (female) Sammy (male) Breeze (male) and Billy (male). Once they were all brushed Paris and Aimee turned up and we went inside to have lunch.

For lunch we had American Hotdogs. Kate and Aimee's job was to cook the sausages, Paris's job was to grate the cheese. And I had to get the sauces, buns and plate out. Halfway through I noticed that the cheese paris was grating looked a bit funny. I tried a bit and nearly cried! Paris had just grated a hole lot a butter. After cleaning up that mess we were finally able to eat the hot dogs. Shortly after we saddled up the horses and walked them down to the arena.

I rode Foxy first. As I had already ridden all of Kate's horses before I didn't have to be lead around. I was allowed to trot and walk. On Foxy I could even canter a little bit and jump a small jump. But we had to be careful of her because she is pregnant. After that I trotted on Sammy kate's riding horse. I didn't do much on him as he had a sore leg. But my favorite horse to ride was breeze. He is a ex-racehorse. Sophie kate's mum told me when I first got on him that I can trot on him but when doing so I can't lean forward otherwise  he will start into a canter then a gallop and jump over the jumps.
So while on Breeze I was very very nervous. But the more I rid him the more confider I got. After about 10 minnuets on him I was able to rise to the trot. I was very proud of myself.

I swapped with Paris because she really wanted to try and trot on Breeze. Once paris was on breeze she started straight into a trot a leant forward straight away. I could just see what was going to come next. So Breeze started into a canter then a gallop witch was to fast for kate because she was trying to run up to the horse and grab the rains because he was heading toward the 1.5 meter jump. Not able to catch up kate stops and watches in horror as Breeze jumps the jump. Paris flys up into the air the lands back down on the horse the slides of the side. After that we decide it is time to go back.

Back a the house Sophie makes pizzas for dinner while we play the game of life. When the pizzas are ready we had dinner. When dinner is over we ice the cupcakes that Aimee made and make instant pudding. We play 2 more rounds of the game of life while snaking on our puddings. Once the games were over kate's family went to bed.  We stayed up for about another 2 hours talking then one by one we fell asleep. I woke up at about 8:30 and got the other girls up. We all had breakfast then stat down and watched TV recorded episodes of modern family and the big bang theory and waited for our parents to pick us up.
(Don't worry we didn't use any technology. Sophie took the photos)
Kate just about to jump on Sammy.
Me and paris leaning on Billy.
 Me on Breeze
All of us on the horses.
Us waiting for our parents to come pick us up.

Rimu house challenge: Giving: Adopt an egg for 2 weeks.

For my Rimu house challenge in the giving category, I decided to do the adopt an egg one. I thought is was going to be really hard since you can't break it and you have to treat it like it was your child. First I chose an egg and drew on a fave and hair, witch took heaps of goes as I keept making the eyes smaller than the other one. After about 5 eggs I finally found the one. I decided it was a female and named her Rosie. I found Rosie a little purple container and put tissues in there so she would break easily. I tried sewing together some fabric for her Pj's but once I had finished my dog got to them and eat them. So I put down blanket over as well because she didn't have any Pjs.  Rosie always slept next to my head a night by my pillow. I the morning I would take her to school and she would do my daily routine. Her favorite part of school was the run, but I think that is only because she didn't run. I had to carry her and run at the same time. I took Rosie to the park right next door to our house but we never went back there after she nearly cracked open from going down the slide!

I thought it was really fun looking after an egg, because you sort of get a taste of what it is like to be a parent. Also it has inspired me to be a teacher and look after younger kids.

My weekend

In the weekend on Saturday at 10.00am I went to Jades house for her birthday party. When I first got there, me Anna Kaitlyn and Jade got ready to go to the Manic Room. It was a long drive from her house to the Manic Room, so in the back of the car we just ate heaps of chocolate and lollies. Once finally at the Manic Room, Kaitlyn signed a form as she had never been here before then we climb our way up to the top of the foam pit did a run up and jumped in. I was to scared to free fall, so I just stuck with jumping forward. After about an hour and a half Jades mum took us all back to Jade's house ready to go to the welcome bay hot pools. We spent about 3 hours in the pool. When back at the house we got into our onuses and eat pizzas for dinner. After dinner we watched the movie The Impossible. It is about a big tsunami that hit somewhere in Asia. It was a good movie but very sad. That night I fell a sleep first witch was a big mistake. All my friends shook me awake at 12:30 at night and told me it was 7:30am and had to have breakfast.  I believed them and had my breakfast at 12:30. They told what they had done once I had finished my breakfast. It was really funny, but I got really annoyed. At 7:30 they did it again and i hate myself for beleving them again! They told me it was 9:30 and I had to get dressed as my mum was coming in half an hour. Just to make sure I went and checked the microwave they had even changed the time on it. I pushed the reset button  and it showed the actual time. I didn't sleep for the rest of he morning!

Idioms

Idiom
You get a taste of your own medicine.

What it means
The saying means that if you do something to someone and it wasn't nice it is just going to come right back at you, and you get it done to you. Then you will know how they felt when you did it to them.

Example
My sister when she was little used to pinch me. One day I did it back and she really didn't like it and started crying. And I said you just got a taste of your own medicine.

Family idiom
We have quite a lot of pets so at the end of the week the house is quite messy. So when the time comes to clean the house my Dad always says it's a piece of cake but we always no it's not.

Where the saying came from
The saying you get a taste of your own medicine came from a fable. In the fable the is a man that sells medicine that doesn't work. He sells it to ill people to make money. One day the man falls ill and the people of the village give him the medicine that he made witch he knows doesn't work. So the man got his own taste his medicine.

Writing a conversation

"Ouch" I cried with tears streaming down my face, as I feel to the floor.
I see people crowding me but a I could feel was my head stinging.
"Jess, Jess?" Paris said in a worried voice. " I'll go get a teacher!"
The teacher came over and helped me outside to get a drink of water.
"I am so so so sorry Jess" I could hear her in the background.
"My friend hit me in the head with her heel when she did a handstand," I cried as I told the nurse.
After school I went to the doctor.
The doctor said" It is just a concussion and if she starts feeling sick or sleepy make her to the hospital,"
On the way home I feel asleep in the car.
I woke to my mum calling.
"Jess Jess wake up!"

My Grandad

My Grandad name is Ian. He is as round as santa but a little shorter and loved to spoil me with chocolate. He has very little hair, there is only hair on the side of his head. He would tell me that his hair is like that because when he went to the hairdresser she was crazy and shaved it all of and only the side grew back. But I knew better. My grandad would always get up from his chair walk down the hallway and and do the loudest fart and keept walking on like nothing happend. That made me smile all the time. My grandad's car is quite run down. My family called it the bomb because it was always ready to blow up. When my grandad took me out he would back down the driveway and onto the hill. The car would always start rolling down the hill then finally start going up, I would sit in the back holding on for dare life! Later on when I was older My grandad got very sick with pneumonia, he was in special pills that had a side affect. It made him go a little crazy. One time when he was sleeping and he thought he was a lion in a cadge so he started thrashing out. Then once in the hospital he ran out of his room and there were people running past. He started running on the spot and a the people went past he yelled out there was a lot of traffic today! Then he ran down the hallway.
My grandad is the best and really funny!

How you felt about the different events of your weekends.

It was a Saturday morning, I left my house feeling extremely excited but really nervous as I wasn't sure I was a going to be able to survive the weekend doing the 20hour famine no technology at kate's house.
We left at about 10:30 and arrived at 11.00am. When I got there kate's mum and my mum started talking witch I was really glad about because I wanted her to stay and see the horses.  My sister Alicia loves horses so she asked if she could fed them a carrot. I got really nervous about feeding it from my hand so I just watched Kate feed them. Aimee and Paris hadn't come yet so me and Kate got the horses and groomed them witch was really interesting because I learn't some new things. Once the horses were groomed Paris and Aimee turned up. As soon as Aimee got out of the car she was jumping around witch got I bit annoying. We saddled up and went down to the arena. I was really frightened because a thought that all the cars coming pass and were going to hit us.
I am really proud that I could trot on all the horses and cantered on a horse called foxy I also did i jump with her and I trotted on a ex racehorse. I had a really awesome time!
